Quite challenging, especially for the small business owner, is the CRM selection process itself. But you also want a website or an online store to which visitors will come, right? And integration with a bunch of additional services to make payments, deliveries, etc. And all this should work as a single fine-tuned mechanism; the money-making machine.
It does not sound easy, but, in fact, it is even more difficult.
CRM vendors do not make the task painless. They promise a lot of great features, announce the cost of a subscription, and motivate you in all possible ways to buy their product. And after the purchase, rejection arrives. You get tons of documentation, a heap of incomprehensible functional modules, and a complete lack of understanding of the action plan. Such self-implementation projects usually end in disappointment, loss of money, and a new painful search for another solution.
Of course, the situation becomes much easier if you have the support of an implementation partner. But let's be honest: these guys will take a large chunk of money from you even before the system is up and running, bringing you the first profits. And even then, they will require you to learn all the complexities of a technologically advanced CRM system to use it “effectively” after they are done with it.
I strongly disapprove such state of affairs. Based on over ten years of experience implementing CRMs, we at Selleris decided to dramatically change the situation.
To make it easier to explain my idea, and since I have already mentioned a money-making “machine”, I will give you an example of a car I'm using right now. It's a BMW X3, purchased on a long-term lease. I pay a monthly subscription and receive virtually everything I need for my car, including service, seasonal tire changes, insurance, a dedicated assistant, brake pad and disc changes, and so on. Basically, the only thing I do is fuel the car and drive it. Even the windshield wiper fluid is changed for me by the service provider.
When the car dealer offered me this car, he did not say that I would have to learn all the elements of the maintenance and repair of BMW cars. That wouldn't suit me because I have no desire to become a car mechanic. Instead, he said that all the car maintenance work would be done for me by professionals. And all I had to do was pay a monthly fee and enjoy the ride. And that was it!
Returning to the CRM, a logical question arises: why should it be otherwise with a complex system like this? Let's imagine an online store and a CRM — a single mechanism, configured and fine-tuned, whose main task is to increase online sales. Modifications and development of that mechanism are done by experienced professionals. And all the business owner needs to do is to read the user's guide, pay a monthly fee, and “fill up the fuel tank” in the form of incoming visitors.
Sounds good? We've made that a reality! Here we've prepared a sweeping landing page just for you that explains the concept in more detail.
